Our History

Flower bring joy, comfort and thoughtful wishes to milllion of people each day. With that in mind, 50 years ago, Jack and Patricka Woyshner purchased a small green house and opened a flower shop at 910 Ridge Road in Lackawanna. With a wonderful location in the heart of the city, The Woyshners quickly became the "go-to" people to make any occasion special.

Over the years, they were passionate about their business, attending many floral design schools and classes, including several international schools in Holland, Vienna and Japan. Pat, a graduate from UB School of Management Entrepreneurial Program, worked for 16 years at the White House, designing for Christmas and large parties, including the 100 year NATO anniversary and New Years Eve 2000.

With all those experiences under their belts, they opened Woyshners Christmas Shoppe in 2000, bringing the joy of the holiday season "year round" to Western New York. Five year later, Premier Floral Wholesale opened in the Clinton Bailey Food Terminal, offering the world's finest flowers to area retailers.

Jack passed away in February 2006 from ALS, and his son John Jr. passed away in September 2009 from kidney disease.

Daughters Andrea and Kristine are now managing the businesses. Through their leadership and support, Woyshners Flower Shop is now bigger and better than ever, yet still offers the personal touch with which "Jack & Pat" built their business.
